Since I switched from AVG to Clamwin, one of my outlook accounts won't send mail but will receive. It is an IMAP/SMTP account. Could Clamwin be causing this, and is there a workaround?

Yes, but it turns out my ISP requires me to use their outgoing server, so that was the problem.
Thank you!

Hi We use ClamWin and hMail on our windows 2003 server. That works really well except for the interception of the PayPal receipts whenever a user buys something through PayPal.
It says:- Virus found: Receipt for Your Payment to Apus Corporation Pty Ltd
It only happens via PayPal. How can I prevent this?

I think the only way to prevent this is to get Clam AV to change the signature that detects the receipt as malware. I assume the receipt is in an attachment (If there is no attachment, then the false signature is being detected in the email itself. See if you can get a copy of the attachment or get the source code for the email and submit it to Clam AV at https://www.clamav.net/report/report-malware.html on the web. It may take a while for Clam AV to fix their false signature. If that is the case, send email to jesler@cisco.com. Joel is the open source rep for Clam AV and he may be able to help.
It is difficult to pull individual files out of a mailbox with ClamWin.
Regards,

First, check the Send/Receive progress dialog for error codes. Browse to Tools, Send/Receive, Send/Receive settings, Show progress and click on the error tab. The error will resemble this, with a different error number and possibly a better explanation than "unknown error"
Task '<account> - Sending' reported error (0x80040119) : 'Unknown Error 0x80040119

The outlook issue is also happening with me as well as when I am trying to access the outlook account, the emails are not getting sorted and it is also showing error on the outlook. I have also contacted https://emailsupports.net/fix-outlook-error-0x8004010f/ https://emailsupports.net/fix-outlook-error-0x8004010f/. I need to fix that as soon as well.

Can you describe your problem exactly? Is it a ClamWin problem or an Outlook problem?

ClamWin might not be responsible for this error. Check out https://www.msoutlookhelp.com/blog/troubleshoot-outlook-error-0x800ccc13/ on the web for some help.
Also check out this--it is very recent and may indicate a problem due to Windows 10: https://threatpost.com/microsoft-blacklists-dozens-of-new-file-extensions-in-outlook/148737/ on the web.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for using ClamWin!
