Clam AV (and ClamWin) will detect Cryptolocker ransom malware if it has a signature for it. Unfortunately, malware is changed often (sometimes hourly), so they have to get samples from users or online services that have seen the new versions. If you are using Clam Sentinel with ClamWin, there is about a 90% chance that any new versions will be detected and quarantined as suspicious files even if there is no ClamWin signature.
