I am currently running a scan on my boss hd and I ve come across something I really just don't know how to take it as...
ClamWin has detected this---C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\1O1L1I1PtF1F1C1N\AVG PC TuneUp Free Download Packages\uninstaller.exe

Win.Adware.Installcore-259

I was confused because it is inside of a "AVG" folder...
does it mean it came from some fake AVG or something or is it left overs from a AVG scan?
Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated Smile

It is not really inside an AVG antivirus folder--just in a documents and settings folder that looks like it was installed with AVP perhaps. This is often done with something you download. You should verify all ClamWin detections by uploading them to the Jotti or Virus Total scanners. Look for detections by a couple of these AVs: Avira AntiVir, Bitdefender, Nod 32, Kaspersky, Sophos, Microsoft, Avast, and Fortinet. If it is a virus, it looks like it might be adware, which is not too bad--some AVs don't bother to get a signature for adware unless it is really disruptive or widespread. Even if it is not a virus, remember this: if you did not ask for it, you don't want it, so delete it!
