It appears that the Clam AV signature database that is on your computer is probably corrupted. ClamWin uses the Clam AV scanning engine and signatures. I suggest that you delete everything in the ClamWin DB folder and then do a manual update of the signatures. If that does not solve things, then the corruption is in the actual Clam AV database, and Clam AV needs to know about it, but someone has probably already told them because Clam is used by lots of email services and they will certainly tell Clam AV about it.

Thank you Guitar Bob... I now have a new Mac a few days ago... but my windows 98 is still running and will not give it up as yet.
