LibClamAV error

Dear Friends, when I do my definitions update I get the following message

ClamAV update process started at Tue Aug 05 10:09:33 2008

daily.cld is up to date (version: 7941, sigs: 74249, f-level: 33, builder: ccordes)
LibClamAV Error: DNS Resolver: Can't query current.cvd.clamav.net
Please check if ClamAV tools are linked against the proper version of libclamav

your proxy may block or corrupt dns queries, this is not a problem since http mode is ok
the strange message is part of the entire message that says that the version is not updated
(0.93.3 is the current)
normally alch filters this kind of messages, but he missed this one Very Happy

When updating, I saw this message

"Please check if ClamAV tools are linked against the proper version of libclamav "

How do we check ???

the problem you got is unrelated to the message, you can ignore the message
even if dns query fails the update works also using http
