It looks like you might have the ClamWin virus signature database in some location that causes a problem. Look at your configuraton and see where the file location is for the Virus Database Folder. The default location upon installation on a Windows XP machine is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\db . You are supposed to be able to put it wherever you want, but I always accept the default.

it sounds like a msvc runtime library problem. Try to install this set of libraries from Microsoft:

Hi,
I get a slightly different error message, and I have checked the the directory locations mentioned in the error message are present except for the last 2.
Could not start process:
"C:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\freshclam.exe" --stdout --datadir="C:\WINDOWS\All Users\.clamwin\db" --config-file="c:\docume~1\sk\locals~1\temp\tmpipzjy8" --log="c:\docume~1\sk\locals~1\temp\tmp2nbhtv"
Error: The parameter is incorrect.
I have also applied the program (vcredist_x86.exe) but still no luck.
