I don't know if you can help with the above but please try. I do have spare bandwidth, and my computer can be left on 24/7 if needs be to allow the mirroring of files.

looks like the proxy configuration you entered in clamwin is invalid:

How do I re-configure? what details do I need? Etc,Etc. I should state here I'm an old codger who has very little computing knowledge, so please explain in laymans terms.

Open the ClamWin Preferences (Tools > Preferences in ClamWin). You'll get to see a tabbed window. Open the "Proxy" tab and have a look what's in there.

Chances are big that you don't need a proxy at all and you should empty all the fields on the tab. You can have a look at the proxy settings of your web browser to confirm (in Internet Explorer: Tools > Options > Connections > LAN Settings, in Firefox Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Settings).
