Hello, we have around 20 computers in the office. I started gradually testing Clamwin 0.92 on our users. I installed one with the Outlook 2002 Service Pack 3. Next day the user complained of the unusual slowness while opening new emails with the attachments. I disabled outlook Clamwin scanning and the problem was fixed. Please note. Thank you.

In current version there is a long delay (about 10s) to scan even small files with clamscan. This is fixed in development (SVN) version of clamav, the engine which clamwin is based on. It should be fixed in next version (0.91):

yes svn fix makes loading very fast, but it's not currently backport-able to stable version since they made a lot of changes
we hope next clamav stable will integrate it,
in the meanwhile we are working on another solution to solve outlook plugin problems
we'll post more new after some tests
