Hello,
Sometimes it may happen that update mirrors are temporarily down for servicing. Try update again and should work. If you are behind a firewall ensure that it is enabling freshclam.exe (that is the application Clamwin uses to update virus DB) to access the web.

Hello,
First, just try to download virus db update once again. If the problem persist verify if you have a firewall enabled. If so temporarily disable it and try update again. If update is successful it means that your firewall is blocking the program Clamwin uses to connect to the internet for updates (the program is called freshclam.exe; check your firewall settings and verify if it blocking such application. In case, you should change its setting in order to make freshclam.exe a so called 'trusted application'; finally the firewall will let it have acess to the web).
If anything reported above fails post here the report message from Clamwin Virus db update report for more info.
Regards,
Antonio
