i use thunderbird portable on my usb stick. I´m now searching for a antivirus software to scan my incomming mails.

I´m willing to use clamwin but i´m not sure if it is the right one for my needs.

How do i need to configure clamwin/Thunderbird to scan (and only scan) my incomming and outgoing e-mails and nothing more? (this should happen automatically - no matter what PC i´m using at the moment and independent from the maybe installed anti Virus solution at that PC)
