You might try uninstalling ClamWin and then reinstalling it and see if that helps. If it doesn't, please get back here.

I am almost certain that clamwin is not responsible for the problem you describe. I suggest to reboot your computer and if the problem is still there then uninstall clamwin and see if that fixes it.

Uninstalled, Reinstalled, Uninstalled, Reinstalled......
More than once I have to reboot the computer to get Dreamweaver and Windows (not Internet) Explorer to work. IF no ClamWin then there's no problem with the above mentioned programs. The "server busy" error is not unusual for Dreamweaver - lots of programs seem to cause it BUT I'm not using any of them. The Windows Explorer problem is new since ClamWin. I removed ClamWin & totally purged (as best I could) but when I came back to it the problem returned. At first I thought it had to do with the iMac on the network but ruled that out by leaving it off for a while. |

Okay, unless Clamwin leaves a virus scanner behind after it's uninstalled it's not the culprit.
Sorry but it was the only one I knew I was using. Found out today Firefox 3 has something built into it so now I'll check it out. Thanks for the help folks, |
