You post probably belongs in the General topic on the ClamWin forums.
ClamWin cannot remove a virus inside a file--it has to remove the entire file, and you will need to restore the original file from backup. After a lot of current viruses are activated, there may be many files on your computer that have been infected, so it is becoming difficult for any antivirus software to completely "clean" a computer.
Anyway, here are some free antivirus cleaners for you to try:
CureIt from Dr. Web at https://www.freedrweb.com/ on the Web. Just download and run--no need to install.
Norman Malware Cleaner from Norman at https://www.norman.com/Virus/Virus_removal_tools/24789/en-us on the Web. Install it and then run it from Windows Safe Mode.

is clamwin ever going to have the "cleaning" feature? BEcause i think thats one of the most important features. What if system files got infected?
I know Mcafee has a REALLY good cleaner and avast! just cleans out the virus by looking for an uninfected version of the file

ClamWin is dependent upon the Clam AV engine, so there probably will not be a cleaning capability unless Clam develops it. It's really very hard to develop a cleaning capability for all the malware that's out there. The additional code required for cleaning increases the size/complexity of an antivirus program. Clam/ClamWin devote their attention to preventing/finding malware before it gets to the infection stage.
Your best bets for cleaning, in my opinion, are Dr. Web's free Cureit, and Microsoft's free Malicious Removal Tool (MRT in the System 32 directory). F-Secure's free Blacklight is pretty good with rootkits--it doesn't clean them, but it identifies them, renames them, and you can then manually delete the renamed file.
