OK people, I had the same problem I guess this guys are having, the database not being accesible. I am from Costa Rica so bare with me a sec, gonna go in spanish (for the benefit of those using google translations who speak spanish but not english) then English (for those that might be interested in this and don't speak spanish). OK, here we go!
Espa?ol:
Bueno, primero, hola. Suerte!

OK, first off, hi! I had problems dl-ing the ClamWin DB files myself, so I understand that sometimes the FAQ doesn't quite pull it off, though it gives you enough information to do it yourself. It tells you ClamWin uses the same DB as ClamAV, which you can find an update for in https://www.clamav.net/ https://www.clamav.net/, it's in the Project News section, direct download links even (https://db.local.clamav.net/main.cvd The main.cvd and https://db.local.clamav.net/daily.cvd the daily.cvd). Now, some might not want to do this manually all the time, and might want ClamWin configured to download them automatically from a mirror close to you (in this case, one in Argentina). To do this look for the file ClamWin.conf (notepad can open it easily) which should be in the bin folder inside the folder where you installed ClamWin. Once you've opened it, look for "[Updates]", once you find that there should be a line saying something like "dbmirror = something" change that something to https://clamav.md5.com.ar/ and that makes your default download mirror an argentinian one. For more mirrors (not everyone is argentinian, right?) https://www.clamav.net/mirrors.html https://www.clamav.net/mirrors.html does the trick, you should be able to find one close enough to you. Anyway, I hope this helps, I kinda had to figure this out myself (not that tough to do...) but this way it saves YOU time. Good Luck y'all!
