This evening I installed the latest version of clamwin to win98. I tried to get an updated for more than an hour. But nothing happens.
Please excuse my bad english, I'm german.

You might look at this thread: https://forums.clamwin.com/viewtopic.php?t=1275 and sed if it pertains to you. Especially check out the last post from Kirby.

Hi, thank you for your answer. The german link had so many special vokabulary, that I was not able to understand what I should do. The links of Kirby seem to be very large. With Main.cdv the PC allways broke down. Iuninstalled clamwin and will look to get something else.

I'm sorry you had the problem. It might have something to do with the Win 98 operating system.

98 operating system, but now I have is to use XP operating system.

The same thing was happening in Windows ME. I'm following kirby's links now to get those updates i couldn't find. On ME there's no "Documents & Settings" folder, rather the files would be located at C:\WINDOWS\All Users\.clamwin\db
