ClamWin Free Antivirus :: View topic - Configuration files was not created, uptade fails

Hi,
when I made installation of ClamWin 0.88 on Win2000 (as admin) and then run it as user, ClamWin does not create config files in Documents and settings\user\.clamwin. It cause error during update. After comparing instalation with another comuter I made copy of .clamwin (above) manualy and now it runs corectly. It can be maybie solution of some other problems in this forum. Question

did you select during installation to install for all users or just for admin?
Clamwin should work correctly in a multiuser environment as long as this option has been specified during the setup.

Clamwin will create config files in Documents and settings\user\.clamwin when a user runs it for the first time.

I have problems with the antivirus configuration. I wanna connect to databases updates and an error appears.
I don't know what is the problem...i wrote the right information but a messenge said:

ClamAV update process started at Thu Mar 16 10:09:30 2006
Connecting via esilva.domain.com
ERROR: main.cvd not found on remote server
ERROR: Can't download main.cvd from database.clamav.net (IP: 200.422.355.13)

This is a wrong thread to post. Most likely your proxy configuraion in clamwin is incorrect.
