I am using portable apps v0.91.2 with kerio v4 firewall but i am getting no updates after trying manually
for a few days. It also says "unable to retrieve database version" in the about window.

Can someone help me getting current database updates please.

freshclam is unable to query dns, you may need to allow freshclam connections in the firewall configuration

I have learning mode on in kerio pf v4 and have allowed clamav requests for network connections.

I also have a netgear modem/router but i cant turn the firewall off in that.
Could that be a problem?

you firewall(s) are not interfering your navigation so it shouldn't have problems
I think that kerio may be not able to detect freshclam activity so it just ignores requests
try to manually add freshclam.exe and also ClamTray.exe if you want clamwin updates notifications
They are in bin directory of ClamWin installation folder

freshclam is already in the allows section with learning mode.

clamtray isnt and theres no way i can add it that i can see. It probably hasnt come up and so isnt
necessary for updates.
