Solution to Invalid DNS reply

For those of you getting the

Invalid DNS reply. Falling back to HTTP mode or ERROR: Can't query current.cvd.clamav.net
message when autoupdating your virus signatures:

If typing
Quote:
ipconfig /all
at a command (dos) prompt shows your router address as your DNS server, try disabling
Quote:
DNS Relay Status
in your router. This forces your router to give your computer direct access to your ISPs DNS servers.

After doing this the ipconfig /all command should reflect your ISP's DNS server addresses.
