Hello,

I sent a virus detection database containing detections for DOS based Malware to clamwin about two weeks ago but it still hasn't been added to the current database ?? Any clues ?

The file contains detection for approximatly 200 Malwares, these detection (made by me) came from actual malware from a malware library.

Which address did you send it to, I haven't received anything (might have got eaten by spam filters).
Also please note that clamwin uses the clamav database and we cannot add to the database directly. I can examine the signatures and forward them to clamav team. Also I would need the actual virus samples in addition to generated signatures.

Why do you need the actual virus ? I made the dectection( You don't need to do any analyzing)
When is ClamWin going to have its own virus analyst ?
I'll send the database again along with the samples
