looks like your .cvd files are corrupt or web server is not properly configured,

try to save these files in your browser:
https://192.168.1.5/main.cvd
https://192.168.1.5/daily.cvd

and see what is inside

It work.

But if local server database update too late, clamwin see that database.clamav.net is more fresh. Bottom message illustirate this effect. This is not a bag, this is a feature. Confused

If clamwin update run quicly after local server database update this appearance not have existance.

freshclam should use dns txt query to check the version, you may need to enable outgoing dns port or setup a proxy dns

Thank you. Your post is not clean for me, I don't know dns etc.

More over, I wrote about automatic update, not about freshclam.
About frashclam I don't have any question, freshclam work finely with database.clamav.net.
But with update from local server I have some problem episodically.

clamwin uses freshclam for db updates, the output you see is done by freshclam, you need to allow freshclam do dns queries, you can check this by using nslookup.
Go to start menu, the select run then nslookup
at the prompt (>) write:
Code:

set type=TXT
current.cvd.clamav.net

then it should show your dns, his ip,
then a stuff like
Code:

current.cvd.clamav.net  text =

        "0.88.7:42:2553:1171254541:1"

and following, a list of entries that you can safely ignore

if you are not able to do it, contact your network administrator,
also your firewall can prevent the freshclam executable to do dns queries, try also disabling windows firewall
