help! after this happens, i get the balloon which states: an error occured during virus database update. please review the update report. the update report says completed, but is entirely blank.

i'm also having problems with windows update as well...i wonder if this is all related.
i ran trendmicro's housecall and it wiped out a few viruses. reboot and ran it again, no viruses.
i tried the compsec and cygwin1.dll post with no luck as well...
i am on ver .88 windows server 2003
