hi,
i've a old computer with win98
i've Clam win 0.88.6
At the first updates i read this report:
WARNING: invalid DSN reply. falling back to HTTP mode
ERROR: error while reading database from database.clamav.net
ERROR: can't download main.cvd from database.clamav.net

There have been some reports of problems with ClamWin on Widows 98 computers on the newer version, but if your version of ClamWin is working okay, and you are able to use ClamWin to scan your computer for viruses, then most likely there was just a temporary problem with the update. These things happen due to problems with the servers and for other reasons, so just try to update ClamWin a couple of more times again--either from the system tray or after you Run it.
You might want to update to the latest version of ClamWin after everything is running okay.
