I have just installed ClamWinAV and I am unable to update the daily virus signature updates or the main updates. I keep getting failed getfile messages in the textbox.
What is the url to download updates from? I am located on the West Coast of USA. I changed the url to one I found on the forum after doing a search, but it's not working either (it's from 2006.)

The URL for ClamWin virus signatures is already set up in the installation package. You can see it in one of the Preferences tabs.
The mirrors pushing out the signatures from Clam AV are kind of "touchy". Try deleting every file in the ClamWin signature database folder and then do a manual update. Do it a couple of times if it doesn't work. If that doesn't work, then make sure ClamWin is set for automatic updates, set it for hourly and leave it alone for a couple of hours--it should update.
Before deleting those files, however, save them somewhere else just in case.
