Hello

Sinc a while, the selfcheck reloads the database for no reason:

Code:

SelfCheck: Database modification detected. Forcing reload.
Reading databases from /var/lib/clamav
Database correctly reloaded (6820413 signatures)
SelfCheck: Database modification detected. Forcing reload.

It's every 600 seconds, the default interval for the selfchecker.

Why does this forcing reload does take place?

Thanks!

What is "selfcheck"? ClamWin does not have a "selfcheck" to my knowledge, and I have been a user of ClamWin since 2006.

Your message says a database modification has been detected, and it forces a reload. ClamWin only modifies the Clam Av database as often as you have set in the Tools, Preferences, Internet Update option--either hourly, daily, workdays, or weekly at the time you tell it to update.

This appears to be due to something you are doing and not something related to ClamWin source code operation. We can not help with that.
