I saw in the Clam AV blog that they are in the process of improving their mirror system. That is good because I have always had a nagging problem with the mirrors since I started with ClamWin back in 2008. I have wished many times that we did not have to get virus signature updates. One way to lessen dependence upon signatures is to incorporate a good set of heuristics, which can detect a good portion of malware, and they would not need regular updates.
