Hi,
I'm developing a small program to download the main.cvd and daily.cvd files from a local server which I have deployed and copy them in to default path of the Claim AV database file.
Do I have to download the main.cvd every day ?
Is it ok to download the main.cvd once and download the daily.cvd every day ?

The daily database changes often--several times a day depending upon the workload at Clam AV. The main database does not change very often--about 4 times a year when the daily database is merged with it.
