not until V1 is released early next year. In the meanwhile you may look at clamav-win32 and clamd/clamdscan combination.

I'm just wondering: would there be any difference in resource demand if you ran ClamWin Portable off of a USB? This may not even be feasable in your server application though.
Also, aren't there some old programs around that will let you set up a ramdisk and run stuff in that? Regards, |

Using a USB device would not be an option in this case.
There might be, I have not explored that option..... The best option would be to have clamscan stay resident in memory so it wasn't reloading the AV DB every time an email came into MailEnable |

Are these programs the same as ClamWin/Clamscan? Just for Unix? |

Once the file is downloaded and extracted, what are the setup procedures for getting the clam daemon running? |

Ok
I have gotten clamd and clamdscan running/working with MailEnable (I think). My clamdscan log file shows emails being scanned and passed with OK But if I send an EICAR test it goes on through to the account....not stopped and no error in the log file. The test button inside MailEnable for the AV program returns a '1' for the code. So am I doing something wrong? |
