I have just installed latest version on my old pentium 1 spec laptop running windows ME
connected to router via wifi .the program gives me the update screen but nothing happens.
numerous tries leaving for around one hour at a time. I have uninstalled and re installed but same result. I installed same clamwin on other modern laptop and from same router it updates fine. i need the software on the old laptop as clamwin supports fat32
The laptop connects to other secure sites fine and used to work with avg 7.5 till its withdrawal

If you are in a network, you should ask network administrator
if other pc on the same network are able to access url or you are directly connected to internet
then some malware may be blocking you.

you can try tool like drweb cureit or mcafee stinger, you may need to download tools from another pc
and the port it using a usb pen

Other computer gets this same message.this computer running XP will update from clamwin
but old laptop in question, won't
