since upgrading my 2 home PC's to 88.2.1 I experience MD5 verification error when trying to download virus definition updates.
tried removing software and reloading but failed.
i think its something to do with sync issues but not sure how to correct.
HELP!
thank you

try the following things:
1. Check your firewall settings and alow freshclam.exe network access
2. Do a database update and paste your update log
3. Change the database servers to:
db.local.clamav.net
db.XX.clamav.net (XX is your country code, like US, AU, DE, etc)
and try database update
4. If that fails, then please check if you can download the following files in the browser:
https://database.clamav.net/main.cvd
https://database.clamav.net/daily.cvd
