First, as I'm not on INTERNET and usualy work from a cyber center, downloading there what I want, put it on my USB key and then transfert data at home on my PC, I have to find a file with ClamWin db that I can donwload and put on this USB key

The site don't say anything about this, it's absolutely not normal. So I go to the 'Forum' and read a lot of thing before I find the answer. I go to https://database.clamav.net/main.cvd and there, what a surprise, I see a lot of f.. b.. strange things on the screen. Thanks god I'm a programmer so I recognize data files, but I'm not sure all the users are abble to know what these kind of things are.
So wouldn't it be more simple to put two great buttons on the site called 'main update' and 'last day upadate' and when the user clic on these he recieve a normal file he can put by the normal way on the harddisk.

I had the same problem that the first message because the file is open and I saw a lot of simbols and then i can't copy the files.

Do not open https://database.clamav.net/main.cvd in your browser, but right-click on this link and select "Save link as...". Do the same with https://database.clamav.net/daily.cvd
