I have installed winclamAV on my pc with winXP service pack2.
I have this thing in my scan report it says , :shock: one virus found.The file still exists in the directory specified but I dont seem to make out any kind of signs of its activity. C:\System Volume Information\_restore{6CA1DBB3-66A9-45C0-8514-705D7FC0DA93}\RP132\A0038347.exe: Dialer-741 FOUND

It's a pretty crappy signature in Dialer-741. Something to the effect of looking for: oc%stor.lnk%s\Lip%sGame.lnk%s\XX

Extract the file from your system restore and post it to www.virustotal.com and see if it gets detected else where. Dialers aren't usually that harmful, they usually attempt to dial porn websites with your modem, or display an advertisement for the porn site where you call a charge number to access the site.

I directly alowed the site VirusTotal to scan the .exe file.But I dont get it why the file size is shown 0.here is the report:

You may not have access to that file, or it is now currently empty. Are you able to copy it out of the system restore folder?
