I installed Clamwin to scan email attachments. Now, once I open a Note in MS Outlook, when I try to close Outlook I get an Outlook error message, "Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid." The only way I can close Outlook is to end the program using Task Manager. Then when I restart Outlook, I get a message saying that Outlook did not close properly, and it goes through the process of checking the file for errors.

I uninstalled Clamwin and the problem went away. Then I reinstalled Clamwin it and the problem came back.

Is this a known problem? I haven't seen any other posts about it. Suggestions?

I found a solution to this issue that worked for me. It is MS article 197036 here:
support.microsoft.com/kb/197036/en-us

good luck.

The same problem here..

As long as I do not open any Notes in my MS Outlook 2003 evrything is fine.
When I've opened only one of them the problem starts occuring.
And from then it's easy to reproduce, just goto Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options and click on OK
The error should immediatly be displayed.

Obviously not using notes would be a solution, but not for me Confused

The solutions listed in MS article 197036 also does not apply for me..
I tried somethings a bit along the same way, but to no avail.

Anyone solved this problem yet..
And please tell how!
