Hi! I've started to receive strange emails from my chef asking me download some strange non-text files. He's out of reach in his vacation so I can't ask him. Can ClamWin detect if it's spear fishing& I've read about it here: https://www.safetydetective.com/blog/what-is-phishing-and-how-to-protect-against-it/ (very useful and simple advices)? I worry if hackers will be able to attack my PC.

ClamWin detects viruses from signatures provided by the Clam AV Project for Linux email servers. I do not think it is very strong in detecting any kind of phishing attempts, as it is not a real-time antivirus. It only scans "on demand" as the user requests a manual scan of a file or as the user has scheduled a scan at a certain time. You need a real-time Windows antivirus like the free Windows Defender for best protection.
