The Venus Ransomware has been upgraded to mine for the Monero cryptocurrency, and it is currently targeting South Korean users. Below is a ClamWin signature for this malware for our South Korean users. Copy the signature as it is, paste it into a Notebook or text file, name the file Sigfile.mdb, and put it in the C:\ProgramData\.clamwin\db folder. The signature should last about a month before it is out-of-date.
