Last week, ClamWin kept identifying an infected file:
Steam\steamapps\common\Star Trek Online\Star Trek Online\Live\GameClient.exe: Win.Malware.Furtim-6 FOUND

I've replaced this file several times with a fresh one from the server and it keeps finding the virus instantly.
I contacted the company's tech support division directly and they asserted that their server is virus free.

Yet, ClamWin keeps finding this virus each time I restore the file from the server.

Is there actually a virus or not?

Since I can't play the game until I feel this file is secure, obviously a resolution is needed.

As I have already mentioned in another post, these forums are for users of the ClamWin for Windows antivirus--you will have to get help from another source for Linux/Apple versions of Clam AV.

As I mentioned in the other post, I just got the name wrong.
It is ClamWin, not ClamXAV.

The program is running on a Windows 8.1 system.

You can check files with the Virus Total online scanner at https://www.virustotal.com/ on the web. I like to see at least 2 of these AVs detect something before I believe it is infected: Avira, Bitdefender, Nod32, Kaspersky, or Sophos. You can report ClamWin false positive detections to the Clam AV project (ClamWin uses its own Windows port of the Clam AV Linux program) at https://www.clamav.net/contact on the web. Be sure to select the correct link---report a virus, report a false positive detection, etc.
