I have just installed ClamWinAV and I am unable to update the daily virus signature updates or the main updates. I keep getting failed getfile messages in the textbox.
What is the url to download updates from? I am located on the West Coast of USA. I changed the url to one I found on the forum after doing a search, but it's not working either (it's from 2006.)

It is not unusual for ClamWin manual updates to fail on occasion. There can be server problems, mirror problems, etc. Try again some time later.
To make certain that you get the automated updates:
Please open ClamWin by right clicking on the system tray icon. Select Open ClamWin, Tools, Preferences, select the Internet Updates and make sure the Automatic Virus Updates is check--select the update frequency and time you want (I use Hourly starting at 8 AM when I turn the computer on each daiy). That will take care of automatic updates--verify the updates after a day or so by looking at Tools, Display Reports, and select Update Report.
