Why is the PM disabled on the forums anyways? I think it's fine if we re-enable the PM, and whatever else is locked on the forums, again. I guess it was locked due to spam attacks?

Yes, the PM capability has been locked for a couple of years now due to spam. Alch reconfigured the forum, which has greatly reduced the spam, but I don't know if this included the PM side of it.
