I see a new version of ClamWin has been released, if you missed it. It is now at version .98.1. This version appears to pass on some improvements from Clam AV under the hood.

There's a problem with the update from 0.98 to 0.98.1.

After downloading and installing clamwin-update-0.98-0.98.1.exe, I see the following:

• Help | About still shows version 0.98
  
• the reminder about the existence of 0.98.1 pops up again
  
• if you try to install clamwin-update-0.98-0.98.1.exe again, it says it cannot install because the installed version is already 0.98.1
  

I remembered something like that already happened in the past.

Is a fix planned (something like a 0.98.2 version)?

I will inform the developers about this. I think they may have used the wrong installer file. We had a similar problem during testing of version .98.1. My copy is okay. Stay tuned, and thanks for the heads up.

Yes - the ClamWin installer had the wrong version. It has now been fixed. The ClamWin Help, About menu should now show verson .98.1 for both ClamWin and Clam AV.

yes please install it over using the nodb installer: https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamwin/files/clamwin/0.98.1/clamwin-0.98.1-setup-nodb.exe/download
