Yes, ClamWin is still active and receives several signature updates each day. At the present time, there is no further development of the real-time version planned, however. The ClamWin developers port the Clam AV scan engine used on Linux systems to Windows every time there is a new Clam AV version--which is several times each year.

The Clam Sentinel project (a separate project from ClamWin) lets you use ClamWin as a resident scanner as files are added, modified, or copied to your computer. Clam Sentinel also has its own scan engine that detects malware for which there is no ClamWin signature. ClamWin must be installed before Clam Sentinel. Clam Sentinel is free/open source just like ClamWin. Clam Sentinel has several new versions each year. It can be downloaded at https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web.
