I was just running Clamwin Portable on a friends computer and after running all night it says the software detected 20 trojan viruses. I had the option of closing the program or saving the report. What I need to know is were these viruses removed or was this just a report stating that there were viruses there and now I need to run another program to remove them?

These ClamWin forums do not usually address ClamWin Portable, since that is a separate project. The scan report should tell you if something was quarantined.
If you don't have a scan report, the portable version is configured just like ClamWin--except it does not have as many configuration options. In the general preferences, there is an infected file option--report, remove, or qauarantine. Make sure that option is set to quarantine (I would not use remove). If it is set to quarantine, any viruses found will be put in the quarantine folder, which is somewhere in the ClamWin Portable folders on a USB if you have it set up for USB.
If the infected file option was set to report, then that is all that you get--change it to quarantine, and rescan.
