When I post the "attach signature" is automatically checked. I looked in my profile. I have a signature. But, it's never posted. I even looged out to look at my post to see if maybe it's just not showing my own sig to me. No dice. No sig!!

Pretty weird!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The ClamWin web site is a basic one. Private messages were disabled some time ago to prevent spammers. Most likely the developers just never completely congured it for signatures in posts.

If you have a signature you have made for a virus, you can share it by submitting it to Clam AV. Their submission process starts at https://www.clamav.net/lang/en/sendvirus/ on the web. There is one page for virus submissions and one page for false positive submissions. In both cases, you have to submit the file involved. When you submit a virus file, you can paste your signature in the comments secton. Clam AV will check your signature, and they will publish it if all is okay.

Clam AV furnishes its scan engine and signature database to ClamWin, so you must submit to them--ClamWin has no facilities for signature/false positive processing.

Thanks for using ClamWin.

I don't want a signature, I think this approach is right. It brings more unfavorable factors than it's benefit.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about a virus signature--not a signature for posting in the forum.

I am having trouble posting my signature, it would be nice if it is activated.

It won't be activated. Unfortunately we had to disable it due to ever-increasing time we spend fighting forum spammers who abuse this feature.
Besides having signatures is not essential to the problem solving nature of this forum.
