Can ClamAV be configured to only run FreeBSd definitions and exclude windows definitions? I need to run clamav on a freebsd system. However, it generates several windows false positives - and takes up a fair amount of cpu while running. Can I run it so that it only checks for freebsd viruses somehow? If not, is there a lightweight version of clamav? I need to run it only on some outgoing email. However, even if I run it on a single email, it loads up the entire definitions file and consumes resources.

You need to find informatin about Clam AV. These forums here are devoted to ClamWin for Windows. ClamWin uses a Windows port of the Clam AV Linux engine, but it is not the same program.
