The Haunting Virus
The latest malware to hit the web and it’s growing everyday! Originally limited to personal computers as a Halloween prank, this virus has been manipulated to a much more intrusive virus and is now becoming more prevalent in corporate machines across the country. It can be barely detected at first with random but harmless mouse movements, to acts of locking the computer, to even taking control of the user interface. Some users have been reported that it even sends emails and changes their homepage to favorite pop singers of the 90s.
How The Infection Is Obtained:
In most instances, users have reported the symptoms after going to unprotected and/or grotesque websites that should never be visited in a work environment. Before reporting this virus to your IT department, seriously consider what sites you have visited recently as this will certainly be reviewed while the clean-up process is begun.
How To Remove The Virus:
For those that want to remove the virus from their personal computer (or for those who don’t want IT involved), a few but simple steps need to be accomplished. Performing these actions will remove the virus permanently, but you should take precaution as to which websites you visit in the future:
Please note that this is a voice activated removal system. You simply need to un-mute your computer to activate the built-in microphone (for those with laptops. For those without laptops, you will need to purchase and install a microphone:
1. Un-mute your computer to activate microphone
2. Open a Microsoft Word document (if not available Notepad will suffice)
3. Speak loudly and clearly into the computer with the following statement 3 times (remember, this virus was originally created as a prank for Halloween):
“Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary”
1. Click on the MS Word Document so that it is open … wait for a response to be provided by the computer in the Word Document (or Notepad file).
2. Once response is provided, speak loudly and clearly into the computer with the following statements
“The Power Of Christ Compels You” … “The Power Of Christ Compels You” … “The Power Of Christ Compels You”
1. Click on the MS Word Document so that it is open … wait for a response to be provided by the computer in the Word Document (or Notepad file).
Once these actions have been completed successfully, the virus will be removed from your system.

I haven't heard anything about this virus, and the description sounds a bit too hard to believe. It is becoming rare now for a virus to eschew making money for someone and cause a nuisance instead. There are some new viruses each Halloween, but they are designed to make money and they follow traditional infection vectors.
However, if there is such a virus, keep your AV program currently updated, don't download strange email attachments from unknown sources, and stay away from pornsites, cracked software, and torrent downloads. If it is real and active, there will soon be signatures for it. In addition, if it is a Windows PE file virus, many AVs (including Clam Sentinel) may already detect it heuristically in real-time as it gets on a computer.

This is obviously ridiculous and fake. Pretty much if there is any "info" on the virus and what it does and how to "remove it", especially when it's in the form of a viral email, it's fake.
