The option to update daily does not seem to work initially after installing this version.
Installation method == exit the tray and install over previous version as usual.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\log\ClamUpdateLog.txt did not exist.

A first manual update 'seems' fine but does not actually create the above file.

After seeing a blank update log for the last few days I manually updated again and the file now exists Exclamation

The following exist in the \db folder
clamav-fa9b3dd424ca9dd8 (28-AUG-05)
clamav-feb78141c0f9b582 (17-SEP-05)
daily.cvd (16-MAY-06) <------ was 14-MAY BEFORE manual update
main.cvd (22-APR-06)

Couple of questions:
1. Do youhave clamwin tray icon active?
2. how do you have yor uptade schedule configured?
3. is the computer on for the scheduled event? Although if a scheduler misses the database update it will re-attempt to download when the clatray.exe is activated.

1. yes
2. daily, 05:57, database.clamav.net
3. do you mean is the update box ticked - YES, I don't use the schedule page as I scan manually.

As said I've changed nothing from previous installs.
As indicated it is updating now, checking the view log shows it checked for viri defs updates @05:57 this morning.
Except it's ONLY SHOWING this mornings entry ie. it's overwritten last nights manual update entry.
It always used to append the file. !

Also the manual scan log (from a few days ago) has disappeared from the \log dir now Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation

This is a definite bug now.
