Hi all,
My windows2008 install clamwin 0.97. Now every USB stick plug in my PC have the folder name "recycler" and Copy of Shortcut to (1),(2),(3),(4) include. I think my pc transfer these files and folder to every stick I plug. I can delete these folder and files. But they appear after delete. So I check these sticks with my Clamwin antivirus. But the clamwin detect these viruses but these viruses appear again. Please advise me how to do. Thanks all.
PS. I update the latest virus definition on line.

It looks like you have been infected by a virus. I think you should remove all the USB drives from your computer until you have cleaned the computer. ClamWin does not do well at cleaning some viruses if you get infected. Download the free version of Malwarebytes at https://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free from the web. Install Malwarebytes with the default options and update it. Then run a Quick Scan with it. Let it remove/quarantine anything it finds.
Then boot into Windows Safe Mode (F8 upon startup until you see the Safe Mode Screen). Select normal Safe Mode--no networking. Then run a Malwarebytes Quick Scan again. Then still from Safe Mode, insert a USB and look at it in Windows Exporer. Delete any recycle folders and autorun files or programs you see. Do this for each USB--one at a time.
Then remove the USB and do a normal reboot. Update ClamWin and rescan with it. See if everything is okay. If it is, keep Malwarebytes and do a Quick Scan with it every day or so. If you still have problems, send me a Private Message.
Regards,
