Under ClamWin's configuration menu, general preferences, there is an infected files option to Report Ony, Quarantine, or Remove. It comes with a default of Report Only because in the past some users have lost access to their system when ClamWin has quarantined or removed an important Windows file because of a false detection (false positive). ClamWin now has protection from this for Vista and Windows 7 users, so they can safely change the option to either Quarantine or Remove. Other users (or users who just want to be careful) should upload the file in question to either Jotti or Virus Total on the web and have them scan the file with multiple antivirus programs, including Clam AV, which furnishes the scan engine and signature database for ClamWin.
If several other AVs see the file is infected, it is probably a real infection and not a false positive. I like to see a couple of these AVs verify an infection before I believe it: McAfee, Microsoft, Sophos, Symantec, and Trend Micro. If the infection is verified, you can remove the file manually or temporarily set ClamWin to Quarantine or Remove and rescan and it will take care of it for you.
If the infection is a false positive, you can upload it to Clam AV at https://www.clamav.net/lang/en/sendvirus/ on the web and they will correct the false signature within a couple of days. Click on false positive and tell them the exact name of the falsely-detected virus on the submission form.
