Good morning,
Upon logging in to my system this morning, I noticed that I had received several email notifications from multiple machines claiming "Trojan.Startpage-1111 FOUND" virus. The list of infected files on these machines is LARGE. I'm hoping these are false positives... seems to coicidental otherwise. Each of the infected machines are on completely separate networks, spread around the country. To come in this morning and find so many having this same reported issue.... :-/ Looking for some guidence.

I just posted in the "Scanner" section about that. I also send a false positive report.
One noticeable fact is that my three "infected" files came clean when scanned by ClamAV.
Don't panic and cross your fingers...

i hope and think also that it is a "false positive". I got a few files reported with the same issue and checked them with other av scanners and these do not report anything.
I am awaiting hopefully an official statement too.

Just downloaded manually the latest database and made a scan of the memory. The Trojan.Startpage-1111 FOUND message is gone.

But if I were you guys, I would refrain from using quarantine as the automatic course of action for now. ClamWin seems to be a tad "twitchy" these days...

That Trojan.Startpage-1111 false positive has been fixed. I no longer get any such detections like I did last night.

thank you for the follow-up. Fortunately, we DO NOT automatically quarentine, so the 150+ files that got hit on EACH machine did not get popped off!!! That would have been a real stresser!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thank you again for the help.
