my floppy drive and cd drive could not be scanned
and i get the message that can't access
were the both drives are infected or hijacked? Plz
advice..

What did you try to scan your drives with--ClamWin or another AV? Try more than one AV and see if either AV will scan. ClamWin will normally scan CD\USB drives (if anything is there) when you tell it to, but some AVs may not.
Also, can you scan everything else--C drive, USB, etc?

yes all the drives are scanned no virus is detected but the floppy drive and cd drive could not be scanned. for further to your advice i may also mention that in bios i selected the 2nd boot as hdd1. and when ever i start my pc i hear sound from the floppydrive

It is unlikely they are infected. I have not seen a floppy infector for years, and there are not many CD viruses. Most viruses/malware will infect the C:\Windows\System32 files or a C:\users\Appdata folder.Try naming your floppy and CD drives with standard names (A or B for floppy, I guess, and D or E for the CD drive) and see if that helps to access them.

it would be better to reformat your PC. most probably that was
the only solution that i can give.
