After 3 days of searching I finally came up with this.....

Hi, new poster here

I currently am using Clamwin 0.95.3 and recently discovered that 0.96.1 is now avalible for download all over the place... sadly, I am having a devil of a time obtaining it -- the download process constantly bombs out half way no matter what computer I use and I have a reliable DSL connection. I noticed that the 0.95.x engine is not longer supported.

My question... Is it absolutely necessary to upgrade to the .096.1 engine in order to obtain the latest virus signatures?

On the Clam website, they say Clam still supports version .95 of Clam AV. ClamWin version .95 should work as well with the Clam AV engine.
