I'm getting the following as well on a dialup:
ClamAV update process started at Sat Apr 29 19:34:18 2006
WARNING: Invalid DNS reply. Falling back to HTTP mode.
Reading CVD header (main.cvd): OK (IMS)
main.cvd is up to date (version: 38, sigs: 51206, f-level: 7, builder: tkojm)
Reading CVD header (daily.cvd): OK (IMS)
daily.cvd is up to date (version: 1428, sigs: 1917, f-level: 7, builder: arnaud)

The HTTP updating is not a real hassle for this as a dialup, but I wonder if any of the attempted
repairs also affect this type of configuration.
Here's the config file:
[ClamAV]
clamscan=C:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\clamscan.exe
freshclam=C:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\freshclam.exe
database=C:\WINDOWS\All Users\.clamwin\db
quarantinedir=C:\WINDOWS\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine
logfile=C:\WINDOWS\All Users\.clamwin\log\ClamScanLog.txt

TIA
