Can anyone help? I have just removed to quarantine an infected file from my photo imaging software.. the program will not work now. Clam win sent the file common01.dll to my d drive, & I can't find a way of restoring it to the program.. is there a restore, or where do I put back the file too?

Look at the ClamWin scan report for the time that the file was quarantined. It should tell you the location of the file, and I believe it will also give the original name of the file. The scan report will be located in the folder named in ClamWin's Reports tab. You will have to manually remove the "infected" from the filename in the ClamWin quarantine folder and then manually move the file back to the original folder.
Set your General option for Infected Files to Report Only and verify any infected files on Jotti or VirusTotal before you remove/quarantine any files. I like to see several of these AVs on Jotti/VirusTotal say a file is infected before I believe it: Kaspersky, McAfee, Microsoft, Nod32, Symantec, Trend Micro. These are also good AVs, but they have their share of false positives: AntiVir, Bitdeffender, Dr. Web, and Sophos.
